Bails of our PBO(Poly-p-phenylene Benzobisoxazole) fibers are woven in orientations developed for our unique form. The fabric is infused with a proprietary epoxy resin blend before being partially cured and chilled for storage.

The composite sheets are sectioned then layered around PMI(Polymethacrylimide) foam reinforcements. Prior to curing, the unit is preformed and “De-bulked” on a vacuum pressure form surface. This crucial step eliminates the voids between fabric layers ensuring a uniformly effective layup.

Finally, the bicycle’s thermoset materials cure under pressure inside our autoclave. What emerges is a module with unchallenged strength and stiffness.
